On the weekend of August 5 and 6, areas of Haywood County will be filled with cyclists and runners participating in the Lake Logan Multisport Festival. On Saturday, August 5 residents and visitors can expect bike traffic in the following areas:
Bethel/Cruso: 7:00 AM-12:00 PM
Canton: 7:15-9:30 AM
Clyde: 7:45-11:00 AM
Lake Junaluska: 8:30-10:45 AM
Crabtree/Ironduff: 8:00-10:45 AM
On Sunday, August 6, the races will be concentrated in the Bethel/Cruso and Canton areas from 7:00 to 10:00 AM.
Public safety officers will be staffing all of the key intersections. We ask all motorists who will be in these areas during the race to be patient and give plenty of space to any cyclist on the roads.
