Detectives with the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office have arrested and charged a man with murder following a shooting incident that occurred Sunday morning.
Haywood County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the Bethel community at approximately 6:15 a.m. Sunday, October 2, 2016.
Michael Clint Browning, 35, of Bethel, was arrested without incident and charged with murder.
The victim, Browning’s father, has been identified as Michael Bruce Browning, 60, of Bethel.
This investigation is ongoing.
